Well, I survived week 2 of training for the Memphis Women's Run/Walk this week. I did so well last week, and I had had SO much water last week that I really just had to pee all day long. Well, this week was a different story. I guess I did not drink quite as much as before, and it was about 10 degrees hotter. I did OK for the first half of the training, but a little over half way through, I got so nauseated, my lips and tongue were so dry and my calves were killing me. I thought, I am gonna barf over in the field with several hundred of my closest friends watching. I decided to walk the rest of the way. I survived, but hope that I learned a very valuable lesson.....you have to drink water. You just have to.
Now, to get back out there and try again.
