Austin's Summer Internship to Ohio
It has been 12 weeks since Austin went to Kent, Ohio to do a summer internship at Porthouse Theatre at Kent State University.
He did lots of fun stuff while he was up there, he and a friend Alex drove to Niagra Falls. I had to steal photos from his Snapchat.
I flew up to see him and see the show he was working on as Asst. Costume Designer, Hairspray
This is Cuyahoga Falls
This is when I was about to head to my gate at the airport...........just as the tears began to fall.
He loves Mrs. Baltimore Crabs - Hairspray
And Motormouth Mabel and Tracey.......I loved me some Seaweed.
He also worked closely with Amber
He will be home in 3 days...........I am ready.
Hunter
Just in case you are wondering where the pics are of Hunter, he does not like to have his picture made..............mostly all I get are frowny faces, grainy dark pictures, or his head turned away from me.
Noah's First Soccer Game
Noah had his first soccer game today. He is playing on an instructional league at Bellevue. They are in the 4 year old division. 4 guys on the field, no goal keeper and the coach is on the field with them.
this is Noah's favorite thing to do.....throw the ball. He just has to be reminded to kick it, not pick it up. He did better today. Monday he "ran it for a touchdown".
this is our goal for him............RUN OFF THAT ENERGY!!!!!
During half time, they have a 3-5 minute devotion.
you see the area between the cars and the field? There is a little gulley. Just moments before this picture was taken, Noah was rolling down the little gulley.
That boy is a mess!!!!!

Dallas and Peepaw
I love this sweet boy!!!!!! He is gonna be Mimi's baby. Peepaw has Noah, Sarah has Hunter and I'm gonna have Dallas (well, that's if I can pry him away from Annabeth - we may just have to share him).
And PeePaw took the time to play with Dallas before he left for work. My heart is so full of love for this man. We have had a crazy, busy time around our house the last 6 months and he has been there every step of the way. I love you Dwayne, thank you for all that you do for our family.
A Moment of Grace
We went to see the Booth Brothers tonight. We have always loved their smooth sound. Of course I love Ronnie because I think he might be a dancer too, ha! He sure does move while he sings and they SMILE.
Recently, Jim Brady left the group to sing with his wife Melissa (we love their duet album too). Paul Lancaster joined the Booth Brothers. Tonight, he sang a song called "A Moment of Grace". To say that it touched my heart was an understatement. Wow. The Booth Brothers have not recorded it yet, but Paul recorded it with the Palmetto State Quartet. Listen to the words. As someone who has struggled with sins of the past and accepting forgiveness, grace, and and mercy, it really spoke to me.

Noah's 1st day of Kindergarten
he is getting to be such a big boy
Captain America - who on earth is Hyder Man
I guess he got those blue eyes from his name sake Uncle Austin "Blake"
You might as well call him Jethro....had sausage, french toast sticks, peaches, juice, and chocolate milk.
and Hunter cried and cried when he left.
I finally convinced him to eat breakfast. How can this be comfortable???? Oh, I guess I need to wash his feet too :O(
Noah was a hot sweaty mess when he got off the bus. The bus driver said we really need to talk to him about sitting in his seat, he had ran up and down the aisles the whole way home. I was thinking he has never ridden a bus, much less by himself, much less NOT IN A CARSEAT OR BOOSTER or no SEAT BELT.

Dallas' 2 Month Picture
What a sweet boy! We love him SOOOOooooo much!!!! He weighs 10 pounds, 22 inches long. He very occasionally will smile, but he is just so sweet. He doesn't sleep in his bed much, between me, Sarah and Annabeth, someone is always willing to hold him. He only takes about 4 ounces of milk every 2-3 hours, ughh!. He still does not sleep through the night. ONE TIME, he slept from 10 p.m. till 4, but it is usually more like 11p-3a. Oh well, they don't stay little for long. I love him so much, did I already mention that???

12 Steps of AlAnon..........God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change
These painting were hanging at LaPaloma Recovery Center. They were painted by a guy who also paints these paintings during the services at The Way on Friday nights at St. John's Episcopal church.
God grant me the serenity (peace and tranquility) to accept the things I CANNOT change (I am only in control of my own choices and responses). The courage to change the things I can (It is not always the easy road ahead), and the wisdom to know the difference (even when it means biting the end of my tongue off).
There are 2 kinds of business............MY business and NONE OF MY business.
