We were planning our trip to Dallas and I was talking to my cousins who live there to make sure we were staying in a safe part of town. Glenda and Terry offered us to stay with them. They have large bedrooms upstairs, along with a sitting area and media room. They were such gracious hosts to us as well as to Kevin and Karen. We enjoyed worshiping with them on Sunday morning at their church and getting to spend time with them. We talked and laughed ALOT!!! We love you and appreciate you Soooo much!!!
Some Trammel girls
This was beside their driveway. I laughed thinking of Austin, he is designing the costumes for Little Shop of Horrors that is running right now at the University of Memphis. "Feed Me Seymour!!!!!"
While Kevin and Dwayne went to the Cowboys ball game, Karen and I went to Painting with a Twist
I absolutely love painting. It is therapy for me.
We visited the JFK museum. It was very interesting to hear that part of our nation's history.
on the 6th floor where the Sniper's Nest is was very quiet and solemn. On the 7th floor, it was about JFK's campaign for presidency, It was much more laid back. They encouraged us to take photos up there.
Kevin even got in a High Five with JFK
Bridges were something else in Dallas.
Terry said he thought Wolfgang Puck's restaurant is in the top of this building and revolves in a circle.
This is looking down from where Lee Harvey Oswald was hiding waiting for the motorcade.
The photo of Jackie O below was made up of tiny pictures of JFK smaller than your pinky fingernail.
JFK's photo was made up of pictures of Jackie O.
Another beautiful bridge.
As we were loading the SUV to leave, Dwayne noticed the neighbors house across the street had smoke coming out from the top. Before we knew it, every firetruck in their little town was on that street. Thankfully it was just a small electrical fire from a bathroom exhaust fan that was put out easily and no one was at home at the time.
Even the grocery stores are ready for some Cowboys!
