Halloween 2015

The Chipmunks!!!!!!
Theodore, Alvin, Simon and of course Dave (at Noah's request - the had to have a Dave)

Just living the thug life.

Annabeth and Dallas....we had to keep his ears (sorta) covered up

Annabeth went as Sarah Sanderson from the movie Hocus Pocus

Noah was so excited to be a chipmunk, he even went to the face painting table and got chipmunk nose and whiskers....then he asked them to paint it like a "Bampire Chipmunk", so they gave him some little fangs and blood trickling down............ha!

And this little guy LOVES to have his picture made.........not!  That was the only 10 seconds that he wore that hat.  I am glad I only paid $2 for it............he really just wanted to be Elsa from Frozen!

Alvin...... Alvin...... ALVIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beach Vacation - Kay & Dwayne - October 2015

I love to sit and watch the seagulls

Nothing quite like the sun on your face and your feet in the sand with the sound of the waves.

us

we went to the pier for sunset.....red AND purple flags out.  The day or so after we left, the pier got damaged from Hurricane Patricia that hit in Mexico

that sun with the clouds floating in front was beautiful

the perfect ending to the perfect day

yep, that water was COLD!!!!

Can't get enough of this

doing what we do..........sit, watch, read, think.

sorry............I love it

I still love him

that's us

Mrs. Conlee got so worried about Dwayne because he looks "blistered" in the face in this picture.  Mommas will always worry about their babies.

deep in thought............

this is what happens when a stranger says let me take your picture together, ya'll look great.....yea, and they have cheap vision check ups at Walmart too - ha!!

awwwwww!

this is funny how light effects  colors.  I stood at the shore and took this picture looking to the west........

and immediately turned to the east and took this picture.....same sky, same sun, same exact time.

getting ready to go eat some seafood...........Mahi Mahi for him, Shrimp for me.

we did alot of "just chillin'"

sunrise is so pretty and serene.  That is what I wanted Peace and Tranquiliity.

Our last night there.  Just in case you are wondering, he decided to grow a goatee while we were on vacation.  The little boys think it is so funny, they call it a "Boo-snash".............Mustache!

the best picture of the trip.  We are sun kissed and wind blown, but I still love it.

Phoenix 4-4022 Orange Beach, AL

I loved the beachy feel to the furnishings.

We like to be on the second or third floor, not too high, but high enough to see over the sand dunes.

Our balcony was the second floor just above the gate....the pool access is on the basement floor.

We really enjoyed our stay here, Would definitely stay again.

Dallas 4 month pictures

Dallas is really, really filling out.  He has much of a personality now and loves to smile so big and laugh without hardly ever making any sound come out.  He loves it when his momma says "Are you nekkid".  He had a tummy ache today and wasn't too happy, so this is the best we could get.

He is sleeping through the night.  He started going to KinderCare during the day with Hunter while Noah is in school, so their mommy can work.  He is doing good so far.  Praying that they stay well being around other children.

He is still just eating Similac regular infant formula.  They have not introduced food into his diet yet.  He seems pretty happy.  He loves to lay in the floor and look at his toys hanging from above.  He loves to eat his hands and boy does he drool.  I guess teething is not far behind.

Medium Golden Brown

I decided to try to go a little darker for fall, but not quite as Pocohontas black/brown as last fall.  I watched a youtube video and this girl used this Garnier Olia Medium Golden Brown.   It turned out nice.  I guess the red in it gives it some highlights a bit from my own natural grey highlights - ha!!! and it is not quite so artificial as the almost black that I had last fall.

I love it when you hear a word that you REALLY needed to hear. God knows what we need, when we need it.

I know that there are many who do not agree with Joel Osteen and his style of ministry, and of course, I don't know his heart.  It does seem like he has the gift of exhortation.  Sometimes I just need to be encouraged.

Today I was feeling bad about my weight, my looks, my hair....just everything, and I scrolled past this on Facebook.  Just what I needed to hear.

It says in the Psalms, “You have been fearfully and wonderfully made.” You are not an accident. God designed you precisely for the race that is laid out for you. You have been made in the image of Almighty God. He did not make any mistakes. You are the perfect size. You have the right personality, the right gifts, and the right looks.
