Ellendale Trunk or Treat

Annabeth loves Halloween almost as much as Christmas.  She came up with our trunk theme and costumes.  We took a family poll to see who got to be the wolf and who had to be Granny,  Dwayne was voted the best Granny ever.  He was so cute hiking up his nightgown to get his wallet out, and he walked right on over to Matt and was talking about football leaning up against the tailgate of Matt's truck all in a night gown...ha!!!  He was a good sport.

Co-Parenting doesn't end when your child becomes an adult

We all stayed together in a huge house in St. Louis for Sarah and Annabeth's graduation.  This picture shows a lot of grace and forgiveness.  My prayer is that it is something that might bring some healing to Sarah and show her boys that blended families can work.
P.S.  My shirt was intentional - it says "Choose Joy".

Six Flags

We did not get many pictures at 6 Flags, but Hunter and I enjoyed a haunted magic show while the others rode those roller coasters...ick!!!

Dwayne took Hunter and Dallas on the Ferris Wheel.  This was tame for Dallas.  He rode every roller coaster he was tall enough to ride.  The only thing he was not tall enough to ride was Batman and Mr. Freeze.  He sure would have ridden them if given the chance.

Sarah and Annabeth's Graduation in St. Louis

Sarah & Annabeth completed their coursework within a couple of months of each other, so they were able to "walk" at their commencement together.  Such a neat thing for sisters to share.

WGU honored siblings that were graduating together.
They called them on stage together.

They actually thought they were twins

if you graduate in St. Louis, you have to go to the arch

it was the windiest day ever especially down by the riverfront, but we took many, many, many pictures to get those caps under the arch...ha!!!
