Run the Year 2017

So Janet and I along with a couple of other ladies have teamed up to Run the Year 2017 - we, as a team, are going to run/walk 2,017 miles this year.  We can divide it however we want to.

I did my part today.

This is the sweet metal that we will get. 

I know it is a long shot, but it is a long term goal to keep me motivated.

2 sweet co-workers gave me water bottles...........are they trying to tell me something???

Starry Nights 4K

 Rhonda, Rachel, Connie, Joi, The Holyfield Family and many other's braved the rain to run through Starry Nights in Shelby Farms.  It was a 4K, but by the time it was all said and done we had walked 3.2 miles.

It was kind of neat to walk through and see all of the lights.

This was the rain and hail at our house just an hour before the race started

we did get a glow in the dark shirt out of the deal.
