May you always have a shell in your pocket and sand between your toes.

This is the canvas that I made after seeing the one below in our condo at Orange Beach.  Thanks to Rachel for cutting out the letters for me.  It is actually much more tan and less orange brown than the picture shows.
This was in the condo and I loved it.

4th of July 2014

At first they were afraid of getting in the big pool, they wanted to play in the baby pool still.

We finally convinced them to get in their boats with their puddle jumpers on.
Before it was over, Noah was jumping in off the side, and believe this, if you happened to be standing there to catch him, he was going to jump to the side so as to miss you, then when you caught him, he would kick you right in the gut to swim away to do it all over again.  He was not afraid any longer.  That is when I start getting afraid.  Don't ever turn your back on a 3 year old.

We had Daddy and Marilyn, Rhonda and Vickie, Mawmaw Conlee, Noah and Hunter and then our bunch.  We grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, baked beans and all of the fixings.  We had strawberry shortcake for dessert.  Yummy.  Love spending time with my family.

3 year pictures

Momma had a tradition of getting all of our pictures made when we were 3 years old.  In an effort to carry on the tradition, we took Noah and Hunter today.  I had flashbacks to why I loathe taking small children for portraits.  Noah did pretty good....Hunter said alot of "I don't want to" and throwing himself on the ground.

 Love this.
So this will be the official 3 year old picture....complete with cherry wood chair and blue background.
There is a little "sass" in this picture.
I promise, we tried to control that hair.  I guess I know where he gets all of the cowlicks from.....his Mimi.
he is getting to be so big.

Thuglife has his shirt half tucked in, half out and looks like he is about to choke his little brother.

Hunter had no comprehension with "put your back to your brothers and put your knees up".
nor did he want to sit down in the chair.
when he finally did sit down, he slumped back in the chair.....so, since he will be three in two months, this may end up being his 3 year old picture......cherry chair, blue back drop and all.
If you are wondering why there are only a couple of Hunter by himself, that is because he had had enough. No more pictures for him.

Noah's Super hero Room

When Sarah moved recently, she got Noah and Hunter new beds and they each picked out their bedding.  Noah picked out super hero bedding, but his favorite is spider man.  I found these on pinterest and decided to make them myself on canvas to hang in his room.
I will work on Hunter's next.
