Dwayne & Kay take on DC

we went to visit Austin and tour the city.....riding the metro....by ourselves.  Traffic, even in the suburbs was a mess.  We stayed in the sweetest Air BnB in Silver Springs, MD.  3 miles from Austin, but about 35 minutes away from him.

 I sang the Laverne and Shirley song every time I went down and up those steps to the apartment.

nglish as a second language to kids in China.  You should hear him....he is too cute and much more creative than I ever realized.

Annabeth's Birthday - Backstreet Boys Concert

These sweet sisters sure do love each other.  Thank you Sarah for coming to Memphis to take your little sister to this concert, especially so I did not have to go :O)

Since they have an extra room down in the basement unfurnished, we asked if we could just buy furniture for that room and use it instead of a hotel.  We call it the Mimi Suite.  Gratefully, my son in law, Justin was ok with it.

Summer 2019

The summer of 2019 brought many changes, Austin is still in graduate school at the University of Maryland in Washington DC so we only see him 2 or 3 times a year and Sarah and Justin were transferred to Clarksville TN with Teen Challenge.  It is a great ministry and we are so proud of all of them, but it sure makes us miss them all.  When Austin was at home, we all went to Incredible Pizza for a birthday party and the whole family was there.....oh and Noah broke his arm on the first day of summer camp....just like Sarah did when she was little.  And if you notice, Dwayne grew a little goatee while on vacation at the beach.  Austin said he could keep it as long as he did not look like KFC's Col. Sanders :O)

Once again, we stayed in Phoenix 3 - unit 3036.  It seems to be our favorite.  High enough that we can see everything, but not too high in case we have to walk the stairs instead of the elevators.

Easter 2019

We had great fun having an Easter Egg Hunt at Mawmaw Conlee's house.  We love seeing the "kiddie" aspect of the holidays through our grandson's eyes.
